Piedra Blanca Overnight Backpack on May 21

At about 3.5 miles each way, and a single night of camping, this is one of the Troop’s shortest backpacking trips. It’s a great way for scouts to give backpacking a try. We typically leave early (7am) Saturday morning for the 1.5 hour drive to the trailhead which is located in the hills above Ojai. Most of the gear you or your scout would need can even be rented from the troop for a small fee if needed.
