Community Service at VBS July 11th-15th

Community service opportunity @ VBSMoorpark Presbyterian Church on July 11^th thru 15^th 2022 (09:00 A.M. to 12:00 PM.)  Scouts will be expected to arrive each day @ 8:30 A.M. and came leave shortly after 12:00 P.M.   Participating scouts can assist in a variety of areas including administrative tasks, decorating, preparing materials, directing traffic, leading small groups of kids, assisting with games, science, and snack time.  At the end of each day Scouts will help with light clean -up and preparation for the next day.   Scouts can sign-up at Https; //WWW.mpclife.org/2022-vbs-volunteers/. ; Scouts can select their areas of interest.  Once scouts are signed-up, the Children Ministries Director Kami Fair will contact the scout / parents.  Parents need to ensure their scouts are committed and available to volunteer for the entire duration of the camp.  VBS would prefer older Scouts, who are currently in 7^th grade.  Siblings are also welcomed to volunteer.  
Scouts will need to attend a training session about a month prior to the start of VBS. (Date & Time = TBA).  Volunteer hours can be used for range advancement, merit badges, or school requirements.
