Community Service: Comedy Night & Parents’ Night Out:

On January 27th, 2023, between (1700 & 2015 hours) the Moorpark Presbyterian Church is hosting a “Comedy Night & Parents’ Night Out.”

Parents night out is where parents can drop the kids off at a school or church and have a couple of hours of free time to shop, date night or just relax at home without the kids. Kids play games, watch a movies, and enjoy snacks.

Director of Children’s Ministries Kami Fair is looking for youth volunteers to help supervisor children between the ages of 4 to 10 years of age. Youth volunteers will help with serving dinner, playing games and making crafts. There will also be a kid-friendly movie.

This is a great opportunity for our troop to give back to the church and for scouts to receive service hours toward school or rank advancements.
