Mt. Baden-Powell hike on June 8th

We will be hiking Mt. Baden-Powell on June 8th.  This is a 9 mile round trip hike which takes us up to about 9400 ft.  This is a training hike to help Scouts and adults learn to pace themselves and get ready for even higher adventure.  At the top is a monument to Baden-Powell, not to mention some great views.  And on the return trip, we will be stopping at Charlie Browns to enjoy a well-deserved ostrich burger.

We will meet at the church very early in the morning, so that we can arrange car pools, and get there at a reasonable hour.  Scouts should bring a lunch with them, at least two quarts of water, and money for Charlie Browns.
