The senior center adjacent to the church where we meet invited us to give their residents a knot-tying demonstration on Saturday, January 20th at 1:30pm. Scouts can bring our knot-tying station and teach the residents how to do some knots.
Troop 604 is scheduled to attend Summer Camp @ Emerald Bay: July 28th through Aug. 3rd. Camp Emerald Bay is located on the Catalina Island. Please check out their website for further details https://www.campemeraldbay.org.
The Fossil Trial Hike will take place on Saturday, December 16th.
Troop 604 will be going on a rock climbing and rappelling trip on December 23rd. It is open to beginners and also scouts finishing the merit badge.
We will be taking the train from Moorpark to San Diego to San Diego, then will spend the afternoon exploring historic ships before boarding the USS Midway aircraft carrier for a tour and to spend the night below decks on the racks used by actual sailors.
Troop 604 will be going on a Deep Sea Fishing Trip on December 10th, starting in Channel Islands Harbor at 5am.
Troop 604 will have a join campout with the Webelos of Pack 3604 on Veteran’s Day, Saturday November 11th. The afternoon of the flag ceremony we’ll head up and go camping.
Troop 604 will be performing the two flag ceremonies in Moorpark on Saturday, November 11.
We will be hosting the Webelos of Pack 3604 for Spooky Story and S’mores at the fire pit on Monday, 10/23.
